OUR STORY
Our story begins in July 1986 in a backyard garage in Wynnum. It was from here our head tech, Chris Nainby, started repairing various brands of electronic organs, Tascam, Fostex and Revox audio and broadcast equipment. The business was named at that time Musiclab. A laboratory for musical and recording equipment was our thinking back then.
We grew with significant support from local recording studios and the broadcast audio industry into a service and supply company with the reputation of being able to supply, fix and install their equipment properly.
We represented Lindos Electronics products to the broadcasters and associated infrastructure providers. The Lindos LA100 Audio Analyser became a key piece of test equipment to Telstra, Optus and much of the then Broadcast industry in Australia
Sales and service continued to grow which necessitated a move to Abbotsford Road, Albion. From there to Commercial Road, Fortitude Valley and onto Campbell Street, Bowen Hills.
At the beginning of 2008 the technical services, associated products and staff separated from Musiclab to form a new company, Totally Technical.
We have invested significantly in hi-tech repair equipment including a computer controlled infra-red rework system for high density PCB work including BGA rework. The right tool for the job is an important part of our philosophy.
We are a small enthusiastic team with many years of experience. We hope to be able to serve you!
