With thousands of Eventide broadcast delays in service in radio stations throughout the world, Eventide's newest addition to its best-selling broadcast delay product line, the BD600W broadcast delay.
The BD600W features built-in WheatNet-IP connectivity and Extended Remote capability by conveniently streaming 24-bit audio and control data over the WheatNet-IP network for easy integration with new or existing WheatNet-IP broadcast networks. The Eventide BD600W in conjunction with the WheatNet-IP network is fully compatible with the AES67 standard for AoIP.
The BD600W builds upon Eventide’s industry-standard BD600 platform, which features 80 seconds of profanity protection, or, in MicroPrecision Delay™ mode, features 10 seconds of delay adjustable in microseconds or thousandths of film/video frames for synchronizing analog with digital for HD Radio or synchronizing audio with video. MicroPrecision Delay can be adjusted on-air, in real time without audible artifacts. The BD600 platform is widely regarded for its pristine audio performance (S/N ratio and dynamic range of >104dB, and <0.003% THD+N @ 1kHz), and time-tested reliability.
In addition to the fully integrated BD600W, an optional factory installed upgrade, or a W-Upgrade field upgrade kit (soldering required) is available from Eventide for BD600s manufactured in 2011 or later. The BD600, BD600E, with Extended Remote capability, BD960, and the new BD600W are all available.
